Manufacturer of current transformers voltage transformers control transformers etc. Gilbert & Maxwell commenced operations in the year 1974 as a tiny proprietorship company. Mr. Nishigandh Deshpande a technocrat was the first to introduce Core-Balance Current Transformers (CBCT) in India. It has also introduced multi-ratio universal Interposing CTs as import substitution for ABB Siemens and English Electric (now Alstom). It has now grown in to a sizable operation as a family owned Private Limited company registered with the Registrar of Companies Government of India.
